Short Description of the Project

Turistički obrt “AIDA” operates since 2004 (National Economic Activity Classification 79.11 – Activities of Travel Agencies). Business is based on the offer of tourist accommodation in private accommodation in the tourist destination of Poreč and its surroundings. The existing website does not follow modern technological trends as well as the needs of potential tourists when searching for accommodation facilities. Therefore, a project for the creation of a new website has been launched, which will significantly contribute to the recognizability, presentation and visibility of the accommodation capacities offered by this sole properietorship/ agency for tourism services. The new website will also improve the presence of users on the tourist market, strengthen the market position and thus contribute to the competitiveness of “AIDA” sole proprietorship.

Project Objectives and Expected Results

The newly-created website significantly improves the model and the way of doing business for the user. It also facilitates and reduces the necessary employee engagement and simplifies procedures that regard creating offers and launching various actions, selling accommodation services to domestic and foreign guests, as well as after-sale activities, including collecting payments and reporting guest stay to authorized institutions that will be automated through the website. All this speeds up business processes and affects the efficiency of the business.
